By June 5, Paris has to report to jail. I hope she does do the full half time they have decided to give her, 23 days. I know its partly making an example of her, but why shouldn’t she pay for what she did. She deserves to go to jail for drinking and driving and then being stupid enough to drive after revocation. She may be treated special, them not sure if she will have a roommate. She will be eating in her cell, since she will be in the special needs unit. Probably for her own protection, more than anything else. I just do not get why her friends and family are saying this is unfair. Well maybe I do understand, they do not live in the real world. They live in the world that everything revolves around them. Okay there was my rant for the day.

By now everyone had heard that Linsday Lohan has checked herself into rehab. According to the news, she is in for alcohol detox. Her father says she is in for pain killer addiction to oxycotin. Sunset Malibu looks like it would be a great location for a rehab and drug treatment center. It is away from the limelight and next to the ocean. It has an awesome view in a private location for the patients. Sunset Malibu is known for using conventional methods and sprinkling in some not so convential methods. Not only do they treat pain killer addiction, they also treat alcohol, substance abuse, depression and eating disorders. They are there to help most problems that are affecting all ages of our community from young children to grownups, from working man to celebrity. I really really hate it when resturants change owners and then in turn changed their menu. We went out to eat with Andy’s mother and brother to a resturant based on the fact they have escargot (my new favorite guility pleasure). I had to wait about an hour before we went out to eat so I was starting to really want escargot. We got to the resturant and guess what! No escargot. That really made me sad. At least I know Andy is making some next weekend for our first year anniversary.

I think I am tempting fate today. I bought some shoes that are have about a 2 inch wedge heel for the first time in 2 years. Why 2 years? Because last time I had high heeled shoes like that I broke my foot wearing them. They were really cute shoes too. OKay, yes I had been drinking, but I could have done it sober too. I was walking (yes I said walking) and my foot turned to the side and my shoe stayed straight. When I went to the urgent care, they said they actually see that happen quite a bit. So a word to the wise, if you are clusmy stay away from high shoes. My foot still hurts when it rains.

Do I just have my mind in the gutter or does that sound dirty to you too?

I would love to go to a psychic. Right now the closest I get to psychic readings is my fortune telling black eight ball. And that only gives me simple yes, no or maybe answers. Austrialian Love Psychics are the real thing. They will use tarot cards to get a good and on the mark reading. They don’t dabble in witchcraft, Magick, etc. They are the real deal.

She has now reportedly checked into rehab. Did it not work the first time? And what does this mean for her 21st birthday party? Hopefully she really does understand the gravity of the entire situation. She really could have killed someone, including herself. If she still goes ahead with her birthday party, it will show that she really doesn’t understand. It will also show she really does have a problem. Only time will tell.

Working for an insurance company, you would think we would have great insurance. Nope, we have HDHP (high deductible health plan) This means until our deductible is met, we pay everything, no copays, everything, the insurance doesn’t start paying until the deductible (if its family its the family deductible) is met. We do get HSA accounts, which the company does contribute to, but still if something were to happy, we’d be out thousands of dollars out of our pocket. Because of my occupation, I’m very interested in seeing Sicko, Micheal Moore’s new film about the healthcare industry.

If you would have told me a year ago I would be spending more time at Home Depot than Kohl’s, I would have laughed in your face. If you would have told me I’d like Home Depot as much, I would have laughed harder. I guess that is what getting a house does to a person. As you may all know, Andy and I are currently working on our garden. We just saw that on our tomato plant there are 4 tomatoes already. This newsletter from Home Depot about gardening tips will help us out. For Andy and I, its like the blind leading the blind. We both have never had a garden. We need to know all the little tips that our parents just seem to know. Its free to sign up and everyone knows I love free stuff. Last night I dreamt about clothes. Not just any clothes, clothes of mine that I have thrown away or gave away a couple of years ago. I like to try to figure out what dreams mean, but this one is just weird. I could understand if the clothes were just given away recently. Maybe I need to let go of the past, maybe that is what the dream was about. But man did I love those black pair of pants.
