Shower Gifts

For my friends shower on Sunday, she only got two things of lingerie. Last week my friend got about 5 pieces of lingerie. My friends Brenda thinks its weird that more people didn’t buy lingerie. I normally wouldn’t but I didn’t think Brenda was going to be at the shower this weekend and I wanted to make sure the bride woudn’t be disappointed. I know if it wasn’t for the stuff from Brenda, I wouldn’t have lingerie. Oh and I guess the red number my sister got me for bachelorette party would count as lingerie. I don’t think many people I know buy themselves lingerie. I like it a lot more normal pajamas.

Cell phone accesories

Andy’s phone keeps on dying all of a sudden on us. We are thinking his phone needs a new cell phone battery. A new battery at the store costs about $50.00-$60.00. I do not like to pay full price when I can get discounted new stuff. Andy also wants a new cover for his cell phone. His last cover was skulls just because he thought it looked cool and it was something that was not expected of him. Its nice to be able to shop for all our needs. I think I am also going to need a blue tooth, but I do not want to pay full price for it. There are plenty of choices of blue tooths for me. Or if i need any other accessory, I can get it all from Accessory Geeks.

Sad day in Wrestling

Andy likes wrestling. I have to admit I did go watch wrestling with Andy while we were dating. Today was another sad day in the wrestling world because Chris Beniot, he was found dead in his home in Atlanta with his wife and 7 year old son. The news I have been seeing online is saying homicide. That is just sad. The odd thing is tonight is they were having a fake memorial for Vince Mcmahon tongiht. Instead they have to do a real memorial for Beniot. Its hard to watch grown men talk about their friend that has just died. Its hard to watch a grown man cry. My thoughts and prayers go out to the rest of their family. It seems like last year around this time the same thing happened with Eddie Gurrero.

Age of Love

New show tonight on NBC, Age of Love. Some tennis star has to choose between 7 forty year olds and 6 20 year olds. I do not like the woman they have in the 20’s because it looks to me they found the ditziest, snobbiest, and bitchiest 20 year olds. I like the 40 year olds so much better right now. They are not catty. I hope an older person wins.

Packetshaper

The one thing I really hate at work is when a system like Oracle, Citrix or VOIP goes down because it is being bogged down by all the workers using the applications. I think a packetshaper is needed. Sometimes at work, the systems just get so slow and that makes my job so much more frustrating and makes the day go by so much slower. Packetshakers do the background work on why this happens and helps you analyze why the system is slow and what can be done to fix it. It helps determine how to better use the systems to help your company excel and use the systems ot the best of their abilities.

Goodbye Orange

Today is the day Paris gets out of jail. I’m glad she finally decided to suck it up and actually do her sentence. I think she realized that if she didn’t she’d piss off everyone, including sponsors. I figure she’s had time to figure out how to capitalize on this “horror”. I still do not think this was too harsh of a punishment. I think the reason that the judge was so harsh was because he wanted her to realize this wasn’t a joke. Maybe she’ll have changed. I doubt it. I just love that the networks didn’t want to do interviews. The only one that is is CNN.

Planning an Event

We are starting to plan a welcome home party for my best friend now that she’s back from California. It takes a lot for a person to plan a party. I know by the time the party starts, I’m going to be all pooped out from all the work I have to do to prepare. Someday, I hope to be able to hire someone to do it all. Like when my friend Noel publishes her first book of poetry, I’d like to find San Francisco event planners in order to plan a party for her. The main reason being is that I live across the country. Its always nice to have someone else take the reins and do the worrying and planning for you. They would know the right people to contact and know where to find the right decorations and right ambience for a party.

Bad Kohl’s

My best friend and I need to find a better, cheaper way to spend the weekend. We went to Kohl’s on Saturday and I spent about $150. I did get a dress, 2 work shirts, 2 pairs of capris and 4 bras. So if I really think mathmatically about it, I spent about $16.00 per item average. I was happy with the bras because they were on sale, $10.00. I could not pass that up at. So all the money I just transferred from paypal, I spent. Darn it. I need to save money, not spend money!

Supplies

When my friend eventually starts up her business, one of her expenses are going to have to be office supplies including printer paper. Since she is a massage therapist, she likes to hand out a lot of fliers and she needs to find a office supply company to get discounted rates. From this company, you can get free shipping for orders over $75.00. Even if the shipping order is under $75.00, the shipping and handling is only $7.95 which is reasonable. The fact that the orders are shipped within a few days within the continental United States also is something that draws me to this company.

Will the Cat ever learn?

Andy and I have been letting Adi out onto the patio when we are out there. He seems to love it and he sleeps so much better when we let him out there. The only problem is he likes to try to eat a plant in a pot out there. Ever time he does it, I throw him back into the house. I have done it quite a few times. You would think I would just stop letting him out, but he loves it so.
