Family Vacation
When I was about eight years old, my family took a Kissimmee vacation. The one thing I remember most about the trip is that it took us 1 1/2 hours to get to Gatorland from our hotel and 10 minutes to get back. My parents think I didn’t notice at all because my sister and I were looking in travel books for free coupons, but I knew what was going on. I looked up every once and awhile and noticed that there were no telephone or electric lines nor houses in view. I noticed the lack of houses and excess of swamp land and fields. But I just kept looking at for free stuff. There was nothing I could do to help. The funniest thing is that Gatorland wasn’t that great. I could do without having went there. But that was my dad’s choice of entertainment that day. Even years from now, its one of the only things I remember.
