So Andy and I got home from work Thursday and I went directly to the computer to submit the newspaper ad for our rummage sale.  But our Internet was down.  So I started complaining how I did not want TDS anymore and blah blah blah.  So I handed Andy the phone book and the landline phone to call because I knew it needed to be in by 6 pm the night prior.  He took the phone and pressed on and no dial tone.  So then I started to get really pissed.  What kind of service were we getting from TDS?  I walked into the kitchen and realized that the clocks on the stove an microwave were flashing.  I’m like hmm the power went out.  That explained the reason the computer was off when I sat down by it.  Andy and I always have it on. 

I decided to start setting up the garage for the rummage sale.  Of course it’s like 90 degress and the garage is so hot.  So I’m setting up some stuff on one of the tables and look out the window and I see the phone line is actually down, like disconnected on the ground.  So we take a look at it and the end is all frayed.  This is like at 4:30. 

I call the phone company and get Troy.  Troy sounds young and he asks why I’m calling.  I tell him my phone line is disconnected and it down.  He says well I can help you with that, let me run a diagnostic and I interupt him and say no its down, like down on the ground.  So then he goes on to flirt with me.  I mean like big time.  Its really a compliment when someone flirts with you and they can’t see you.  I must have a really sexy voice!  He made the comment well since its outside, its free of charge and no one has to be there.  I said that we are having a rummage sale, so people will be there anyway.  He said if he lived closer he would have come, but its like a 2 hour drive for him.  Now this freaked me out because he has my name, number, cell number, and home address.   If you think about it, crazy people could use this to their advantage!  Anywho, he said it would be fixed Friday or Saturday at the very latest.  When we got home from work at 2 he was just leaving.  Thank god.  I have become addictec to this blogging and it felt so wrong not blogging yesterday!  Or did I early in the morning?  Man lack of sleep really gets to a person. 

My best friend wants to be a movie star.  I told her the first thing she needs to do is find a Headshot Studio and have someone take headshots for her to take to auditions.  When she was out in California, she could have had this done in Los Angeles.  The cool thing is at this studio, the photographer even does pictures for online dating profiles.  I think that is cool because when you are looking for love you want to look your best and stand out.  They even do headshots for the business profiles.  Its not all about being a celebrity anymore, its about showing someone you are important!

For about a year now, I have been buying 100 Calorie snack packs of oreos and chips ahoy cookies.  They are okay. I would rather have the real thing, but I guess since these are better for me I can handle it.  They have a bit of the normal taste, but they also kind of taste that they are good for you which maybe what scares me!  Hopefully if I can only snack on these instead of chips or Hershey bars, maybe it will help me lose some weight. 

I do not know why this is one of my biggest pet peeves, but it is.  People who spell weird incorrectly.  Man, that annoys the crap out of me.  They spell it wierd.  Now that just looks strange.  You know I understand the whole “I before e except after c unless blah blah blah blah” may confuse some people. but WIERD just doesn’t look right!

Once it starts getting colder here, Andy and I are going to start working on updating the inside of the house.  We are thinking of remodeling the kitchen and the bathroom. They are both too small and have not been updated in awhile.  The kitchen and bathroom both need new cabinets and maybe some new commercial plumbing fixtures.  We have the see thru clear ones right now and I think its just looks icky.  I would also like to update the sinks in both rooms to make them look more modern and have more room in them.  Best part about this website is that we can order online and get free shipping anywhere in the continental United States. 

Maybe I need to let my husband do the laundry.  He made a comment the other day about how he never has any clean pants, but it always seems I am downstairs washing a load.  I do do about 2 loads a week, but I guess somehow his pants seem to fall into the load that I don’t get to. 

Lindsay Lohan was again arrested for her second DUI after just leaving rehab earlier this month.  She even did an extended stay, 45 days.  I guess she wasn’t taking the rehabilition serious or just had the I don’t have a problem attitude.  What I think is that she needs to get away and take a look at what other people are saying about rehab. 

Alcohol Rehab is a never ending process. I think if she maybe saw she wasn’t the only one going through what she is going through.  Yes, she is famous, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a problem.  She needs to realize that she has a problem and there are ways to fix it.  It would probably help being able to read about other peoples problems and being able to relate to them.

 One nice thing is that it is a place to talk about different types of treatment.  One entry speaks of California drug rehab and that research needs to be done.  They state a lot of California rehab centers have an emphasis on the universal, and not on the individual.  That would be an important thing to know before checking yourself into one for 30 days. 

Those do not mix.  I find this very amusing.  I live in Green Bay.  I know of one Packer playing based on watching the games and that it Brett Favre.  But tonight I impressed myself.  We went to eat at a resturant called Fratellos, which is new to the area.  Well when we getting up to leave, there was a couple waiting to be seated.  I though the woman was overdressed in a short gold mini dress and that is why I actually noticed them.  I turned to Andy and said oh my god, that’s AJ Hawk, outside linebacker or something.  But you wanna know how I knew who he was!  He does the promo at the beginning of movies at the movie theater around here telling people to shut off their phones. 

I have two bachelorette parties in the next month to go to.  I know I want to give a gift that is kind of naughty!  That is what a bachelorette party is for.  For mine, my sister was the only one who bought me some risque lingrie.  I am thinking of maybe buying some open tip bras.  I am sure the grooms to be would enjoy greatly. 

Today I got an email from one of my friends from high school.  One of the guys we went to high school with, a year younger than us, has been charged with severe child abuse.  His children are twins, only 4 months old.  The boy has two broken legs, a broken collarbone, and a broken arm.  The girl has a broken clavicle and maybe some ribs.  They say right now that it is just reasonable that it is child abuse.  I remember this guy from high school, a real hot head, so it wouldn’t surprise me too much that he did this.  But it hard for me to understand what would make someone want to hurt a little baby.
