Tequilla!!!!!!!

It is very rare that I actually find a website that Andy would really enjoy.  I think The Tequila Guy is a website that when I show Andy, he will not easily be torn away.  The Tequila Guy talks about everything tequila.  He stays away from the cheap stuff that most people are already aware of.  He talks about the good tequila, you know, the kind you can just sip.  I  personally like the website is because it has recipes.  I already found one I think we need to try, Acapulco.  If you have any questions at all about the tequila ,even resturaunts to find it in, ask.  This makes me want to order one at the bar tonight!

Scott Baio is no longer single!

We finally watched the season finale of “Scott Baio is 45 and single” last night.  Scott finished his 8th week of having a life coach.  I liked when one of Scott’s friend’s asked his “life coach” if she would be upset if Scott decided to be single and her answer was “that is not what this was all about.  It was about Scott finding out what he really wants and who he really is.  If he wants to be single, then I am happy I have brought him there.”  Scott did decide at the end to marry his longtime girlfriend.  The ended awesomely by Renee, his girlfriend, saying “we’re having a baby.”  His mouth dropped open and the show faded out.  He looked happy yet shocked.  So not only is 45 and no longer single, he’s going to be a daddy.  That is a lot of responsibility in a short time, so hopefully he is able to handle it all.  If not, he can always go back to Doc Ally.

Arizona Anyone

My best friend has had arthritis since she was 2.  The doctors think that it could have been caused by a bladder infection at that age.  But they do not know.  One thing they always told her was that a warm climate would help.  When it gets cold here in Wisconsin, she aches really bad.  I know at one point her parents looked into Phoenix real estate, but they never moved. Now one her ex-boyfriends from high school has moved there.  I think she has considered moving there instead of coming home, but part of her plan is to save money.  I think the other reason is so her friends could start having babies!

ABC Cavemen

I just saw a preview for Cavemen (you know the Geico Cavemen).  I don’t even know how to put into words how bad it will be.  I can’t believe it made it through testing.  The preview I saw was not funny in the least bit.  I had heard the producers had had second and third thoughts about actually doing the show.  Why didn’t they listen to those thoughts?  I usually give all shows an equal chance, but this one is not going to even register on my television radar.

Herbal Essence

What happened to the normal Herbal Essence shampoos? Andy loved the normal hair kind, and now I cannot find that anywhere. He’s a man, so you would think he doesn’t care what he uses for shampoo, but not my man. My man is very particular. He almost does more with his hair than I do in the mornings. One of our recent conversation was about taking midday naps and how he doesn’t like them because they mess up his hair. He doesn’t have long enough hair to get messed up, but whatever. He thought I was saying he was bald (which he is not, not yet at least). Now they have Color Me Happy (which I use) but none of the regular.

Air Ambulance

A couple of years ago, my uncle had to have a liver transplant.  His liver was failing and he needed one ASAP.  He needed to get down to Madison hospital and the Green Bay Hospital he was at was afraid to use ground transportation because he was pretty sick.  The hospital decided to use air evac flight ambulance service in order to get him there in time for the surgery.  Working at an insurance company, I do know that air ambulances are expensive, but it is covered if medically necessary.  This air ambulance service has reasonable prices and is commited to quality care.  They use qualified crew and  saftey is the biggest concern.  I hope to never have to use one but if i do, I will use this.

Coming Home

The best feeling after being away all weekend is coming home and relaxing. I love to be able just to sit on my couch and watch the cat clean itself and just know I am home. The five and a half hour trip both ways takes a lot out of a person. I do have to say we needed a weekend like this. One where we went to bed early and slept in. I am still sick, but I think I have gotten over the worst of my cold. As long as its gone in 3 weeks for the wedding I am in standing up in, I will be happy.

Chill of Fear

Chill of Fear by Kay Hooper was the book that I finished reading this weekend. That is one thing I like about visiting Andy’s parents, I always seem to finish a book. This book sounded like it was going to be all about Special Agent Quentin Hayes, part of the Special Crimes Unit (a.k.a. the paranormal unit). It had some of his story and why he spent his vacations at a place called The Lodge for the last 10-14 years. When he was 12, a girl who he looked at as a little sister was murdered at the Lodge. He’d been looking into what killed her for years, but never finding anything. But this year, it was going to be different.Enter Diana. Diana is at the Lodge for a therapeutic art workshop. Basically since she was young, she has been told she was abnormal, hearing voices, blacking out, etc. Quentin recognizes immediately that she is a medium and it is his job to convince her that she is not crazy and is a medium to the other world. The book mostly revolves around Diana and her role in helping to figure out what happened so many years ago at the lodge. This is the most paranormal of Kay Hooper’s books that I have read. I believe in psychics; I just do not know if I really believe in mediums and maybe that is why this book seems a bit far fetched to me. I wanted to finish it to see who the killer was, but even that for me was a bit of a let down. But It was entertaining, I will give it that. And again, Kay throws in a little surprise that you never would have guessed. That I do like about her writing. Even if it is just a little thing, nothing important to the story, it just adds to the story, she will throw it in and see if the reader notices.

Tutoring

At work right now, one of my duties is to converting for drugs to correct metrics.  I wish I would have pressured my parents on looking into tutoring when I was in high school.  I was never really good at math.  I never really thought I would have to use algebra after high school.

I had to take a few math classes in college to graduate and I would have likes some online tutoring for college math.  The basics I always understood, but I think maybe I didn’t understand enough in K-12.  I think I understood enough to do the homework, but not enough to really understand what was going on.

I know when I have children, that if they have problems or need Homework Help I will look into Tutorvista.  It is a reasonable monthly price with no limit to how often the students need the use the service.  It is also available 24/7 hours, so when the students procrastinate they will be able to get help when needed.

Folonari Pink Pino Grigio

After the movie, we went a French restaurant called Salut. We had a bit of a wait for a table, so we ordered some drinks at the bar. I ordered a Folonari Pink Pino Grigio. First, the waitress cards me (I’m with my inlaws!) and then she says it’s a bit on the fruity side. I say “that’s fine.” She brings the wine and I absolutely love it. It is not that fruity, it’s a bit more tasteful than what I normally drink. It has a refreshing taste, a wine that goes down very easy. It looked like it would be reasonably priced too. I normally do not order wine in restaurants because I usually know what the price of the wine bottle is and I cannot bring myself to pay about the price of the bottle for one cup.
