Attendence Incentive
From November to I think the end of February, my work is running an incentive for attendance. I hardly ever call in sick anyway, but its nice to get a little extra money for it. The last two years both Andy and I received this. But now since Andy has moved to another department, this year it is just me getting the incentive. But he’s ready to spend that money. Instead of paying down a loan, he suggested maybe buying some sort of projection televisions. I said no. If anything, its going to be something for me to enjoy a lot. Maybe a day at the spa. I just hope I do not get sick. I’m knocking on wood right now, but I am feeling pretty good right now. Last year, I was healthy until the last two weeks, and ended up getting something of a sore throat/cold. When I went to the doctor, they said there had been a lot of people from where I work. Everyone wanted the incentive money and went to work sick, in turn making everyone else sick. I just hope I stay healthly. I hate being sick.
