Breaking the Bank
So I accomplished what I wanted to do yesterday. I spent a lot of money. But I am about halfway done shopping now. I only have like 5 more people to buy for. I have Andy’s mom and dad done, my mom started, my niece and nephew done ( I have to be or I will go broke), my grandma done, my cousin (unless I see more cheese spreaders), her fiancee and my aunt started. I think in total I spent about $300.00. Good thing I made Andy sell our Packer tickets yesterday, it paid for my shopping.
Plus I finally found a dress for my cousin’s wedding at the end of this month. I have been looking for about 2 months now and haven’t been able to find anything. I even tried Dress Barn. (Okay, so I digress with this rant, but why would you name a store with the word barn in it? That starts up some bad thoughts in a woman’s head.) I made sure to be shopping with my best friend because she has better shopping skills than my husband. She made me try on things, and wouldn’t let me give up. I’m glad she didn’t because I finally found the dress at JCPenny’s. By the way, the dress selection at Kohl’s sucks. Anyways, the dress I found for the wedding is purple so it matches the necklace Andy got me and the silver shoes with purple that I wore for my friends wedding. Now I need a silver purse. (Don’t tell my husband, he thinks I have enough purses.) My favorite part of the price of the dress is that it was only $50. Now that I can handle.
