You know what really would suck about being a celebrity?  I was reading an article the other day about what Tom Cruise had bought Katie Holmes (is it still Holmes?) for Christmas.  Now that is kind of rude.  Presents are supposed to be a surprise, she shouldn’t be able to pick up a magazine and read what her husband got her.  Plus do people really care if he got her a Tiffany necklace or wholesale fashion jewelry?  I would rather hear about the next movie they are going to be in.  That just ruins part of Christmas. 

Have you heard the song “Crazy B****” by Buckcherry?  I personally love the song because its fun to listen to.  I saw Buckcherry in concert with Bush and Days of the New about 7 years ago.  The funny thing is this is before I knew my husband and he went to the same concert.  I wonder if we saw each other there!  Anyway, the funny thing is you what the next single that Buckcherry released was?  “Sorry.”  Coincidence?  I don’t know, but I find it amusing!

One of the things that I had hoped to do when we were in Europe, was to head over to Austria or Switzerland to see the Alps.  We would have to, but there was just so much to see on the drive over, we ran out of time.  Looking on the web, I realize I would love to go to a Courchevel chalet some time for a dream vacation.  How many people do I know that would take a trip like this?  Not many.  It would be great to be able to wake up in the morning in a nice ski resort and be able to ski on great hills.  For me, I have never really been skiing, but it is something that looks like it is a lot of fun.  You know, once you get the falling part down!  For me, the cool part would be for the chalet to have the food and wine ready for me, that would be great.  I think I would spend more time inside than out. 

My friends roommate had a great story about how her roommate actually outsmarted the cat.  The cat didn’t like to wear its safety collar (you know the one where if it gets caught on anything, it will snap apart for the safety of the cat).  So the cat learned how to take it off.  It took a few days for the roommate to notice the collar was gone.  They looked all over the house, but the cat found someplace to hide the collar.  So the roommate bought a normal collar, one that the cat could not take off.  The cat tried and tried, but was unsuccessful to get it off.  So after a few days, the roommate awoke one morning to the old safety collar lying on the pillow next to her.  The cat must have figured if it had to wear a collar, it was going to have to be the one that it could get off.  This is why I love cats.  They surprise you with their little ways!

Last night, we took the 5 and a half hour drive to the in-laws for Christmas.  We are spending the weekend here and then heading back to Wisconsin on Sunday (at 6 am so someone doesn’t miss the Packer game.) I just can’t believe how busy we are once this weekend starts.  I don’t think I have a day to rest until January 15. 

I always sleep on the ride for a couple of hours.  This time was no different.  Its funny how Andy misses the same exit each time stating that Minnesota does not post exit signs until its too late.  He tried to swerve to make it, but didn’t.  For a second there, I kind of wondered if we had any life insurance no medical.  Funny thing is he got off on the next exit and got back on the highway and somehow without getting off an exit got on the highway he needed. 

And this is not by choice.  Marcus Theaters are not airing Sweeny Todd.  Why?  Why? Why?  How can they deprive me of my Johnny?  I need a viewing of Johnny ever couple of days to make the world right :)   All I know is that there was some discrepancies in money or something between the production company and the theater.  So basically all us Johnny Depp fans get screwed!

Last night I was awake from about 2-3:20 and got up at 4.  Because I am addicted to blogging, I wrote a few posts before trying to fall back asleep.  I had a headache, I think because I have been grinding my teeth.  I could barely function with the little headache I had, I can not imagine what a migraine would have done to me.   A couple people at work have missed work because of this reason, and I don’t think I could handle a headache like that. Of course, I again have a headache right now.  I just hope it goes away in the next few days. 

My husband was the one who couldn’t wait to exchange our gifts that we weren’t supposed to get each other.   I had bought Andy 2 puzzles (one of Las Vegas and one Pirates of the Caribbean) and a Pirates book.  He got me the same puzzle (which is what I figured when I shook the box) and a teddy bear.  He never got me a teddy bear or much for stuffed animals.  But the best was the gift we gave the cat.  We got him a toy that I picked out at Target.  It is supposed to keep the cat busy for hours.  Andy and I sat watching the cat play with it for about a half an hour just laughing.  It will keep him busy because he can’t figure out why he cannot get the ball inside the contraption. 

I swear sometimes Andy does not listen.  When his mother was visiting, I asked if his dad needed anymore capresso or coffee.  One thing I like about shopping for his dad is that he is really easy to buy for.  Books or coffee and he seems to be happy.  The only hard thing is getting him a book he hasn’t read yet.  Anyway, his mother said no, he does not need anymore coffee.  So last night Andy went to the store and came home with more coffee for his father.  But I guess its men and selective hearing. 

I have to admit I watched a few episodes of this show about the bi-sexual Internet star–Tila Tequilla.  Last night, she picked the person she was in love with–the guy.  I would have chosen him too.  I mean other than the fact that I am totally straight, but I think Dani, the fire-person, she was just way to cocky.  I do believe she cared about Tila, but I think Bobby (the guy) was a better fit.  Do I see the relationship actually working out?  Well its an MTV relationship and we all know the outcomes of all the other couples.  So I am going to go with a no!
