Mail Call
I love getting the mail, but today, I got a letter from the county clerks office. I am being considered as a juror. This is the first time I’ve gotten this letter. I know that at my work, we get paid normal pay plus whatever we get paid for being a juror. Last time Andy got picked, he didn’t have to go either day. I think it would be interesting, but not something I would look forward too.
I do like that they give you the months and give you the opportunity to tell them the days you are going on vacation. So you don’t have to give up that trip to Hawaii to stay in Condo Hotels.
Funny thing. I just got off the phone with my mother and my father has been summoned also. Hmmm. Weird.

It’s probably been 20 years since I did jury duty. It was interesting, although, I didn’t really enjoy the case I was on, drunk driving.
By the way, would you mind changing the name of my site in your blogroll? It was The Coffee House, now it’s The Sewing Mom, same link, just updated name. I’ve also added you to my blogroll, although, I am currently having some technical issues with it showing up on my site.
