Hey hey Goodbye
So anyone who knows me really well, knows when I make up my mind about something, it’s made. Well, last Friday, with our tax refund we paid off Andy’s car. It was nice to go without no payment. See Andy’s paid off car below:
This Friday, Andy and I took another big life step. We bought a new 2008 Toyota Prius. We had been talking about getting this car for over a year and a half. It never was an option until we paid off his car. His car was getting so close to something major happening (gasket, transmission), so we decided to jump in and get a new car before anything could happen.
Why a Toyota Prius? It has a Smart Key system–no key to actually start the car–its a button. You can walk up to the locked car with the Smart Key in your pocket and when you touch the door, it will unlock. Gas mileage is 42 city and 45 highway on average. It has a backup camera, touch screen for climate control and radio. I can hook my MP3 player to play in the car. Oh and heated mirrors. This is the first new car for Andy and I so its a milestone for both us.

I want a new Prius so bad. My new job is a much further commute than my last job, so once my husband’s car is paid off we’ll be purchasing one.
