Pearl Necklace
What if you could get more than just a pearl from an oyster? Don’t you think it would be really cool if you could get wine from an oyster? It would be nice if you were making oysters for dinner and they were filled with wine. No need to go to the store!
Right now, we have some canned oysters sitting in the pantry closet. I’m not sure if they areGulf oysters. We are saving them for our mini Thanksgiving dinner we are having in a couple weeks. My friend’s husband was out of the country for our dinner, so we thought we would do a mini one Thanksgiving for him. He love’s my husband’s oyster stuffing.
I never realized how many differnt ways you can prepare oysters to eat. Be Oyster Aware website has a lot of great recipes from Chicago Style Oyster Pizza to Oyster Quiche (two dishes I think my husband is going to make me try.) Not only does it give recipes, it has links for the normal consumer. There are many dangers with oysters that you do not want to mess with. This site outlines this and who is at higher risk. It is nice to have all the information in one place and with one click you can get as much information as you need.
