Moms Say the Darndest Things
My mother never ceases to amaze me. On the 4th, we were listening to a band at my cousin’s bar and my mother kept telling me she didn’t know the song. A Third Eye Blind song came on and I leaned over to tell her that she didn’t know the song. Her response, “You don’t know that, I could have heard it on E-bay.” I looked at her and said E-bay—she realized she said something wrong so she said “Maybe I have their record.” I remember records, I doubt that there is a Third Eye Blind records sitting at my parents house. It’s hard enough to find some CDs now days since there are no music stores around anymore. So I quipped back “Not their eight track?” I can be a cocky daughter.

That is awesome that she might have heard it on ebay.
My mother is technologically illiterate, although she is getting loads better now that she bought a mac and is learning to use it.
You should try and convince you mother that the internet is really a series of tubes.
