To begin with, I am quite pertubered I have to write this again.  I wrote this yesterday and it saved and I thought posted, but no such luck, so here I am again writing this.

My mother’s favorite type of ice cream is strawberry.  I live near a Hansen’s (a local deli/ice cream parlor) so she started combining trips to visit me with trips to Hansen’s.  Maybe that is why she started coming over more!  Well a couple of times we went in there, they didn’t have strawberry ice cream, stating it was not in season.  So went in there when it would be in season, and they had it once, but the other couple of times, no go.  Finally when we went on Saturday, the guy behind the counter finally told us the truth.  They stopped making strawberry.  Now to my mother, this is blasphlemy.  I would be shocked if they got rid of my favorite–chocolate.  Strawberry is just one of those flavors you think a place would carry–its a staple.  I guess the sales were not going good.  So now, I almost want to boycott Hansen’s since they do not have my mother’s flavor. 

But that is not only reason I want to boycott. The store has some video games. There is a printed note on each game stating that Hansen’s is not respsonbile for lost money on the games. Problem is, 90% of the time, these games never work. So why even have them in the store if the store is not going to back them up? I feel like this once ma and pop store once sold to knew owners has turned cold and unfriendly. Sad thing is, not too cold and unfriendly when we need milk in a pinch. But I will try to find some place with real ice cream for my mom since she loves it so much.
