When I was growing up, my mother always complained about my sister talking so much.  Now that my sister has her own daughter, she’s a copy of my sister.   I think my mother is quite amused at how much my niece talks.  I think what my children are going to get from me is my annoyingness (is that a word?)  Andy and I are both the youngest, so we have lots of practice at being annoying.  A couple years ago for Christmas, my mother bought me one of the cheap Simpsons talking watches from Burger King which said “Are we there yet?” As a kid, I was the one who always said that every couple of miles. While on the trip upnorth later that day, I made sure to bring the watch and hit the button multiple times on the 45 minute trip. I just hope I can handle our kids as well as my mother handle my sister and I.
