The Kindness of Strangers
On Friday night, Andy and I had a hard time deciding to where to eat. Since we were kind of on a date, he wanted to go somewhere we had never been. But I have been picky lately, so it was kind of hard to decide where to go. We decided to stop at a resturaunt called Cheffeta’s. We had driven past it a couple times, each time saying we should go there, but never had. I guess this was the time for us. According to its motto, it’s a fine dining experience. It wasn’t that busy, but they made us sit at the bar for ten minutes. I hate when places do that, I would rather sit at the table. So we just ordered water and started looking at the menu. A couple walked by us and interupted us. The woman handed us a $10 off coupon stating she had printed them off online and they were only good until the end of November and they live out of town. We thanked them profusing. Its always nice when people reach out to those they do not know and brighten up their day. I hope I do that some day. My only problem was, I ate too much popcorn at the movie, so I wasn’t really able to eat dinner. But Andy enjoyed his food. He got sea bass which he said was excellent. I was also happy because I finally found a resturant in Green Bay that has escargots.
