Today was the March of Babies that Andy and I decided to walk in. We have walked in it every year that we’ve been together and I have walked 5 years when I was in middle school and high school. But the last 4-5 years I have had more purpose to walk. We have walked with my cousin and her daughter Kait. Kait was 7 weeks early and actually had gotten help from March of Babies to help with medical costs. Kait has walked every year. This year, though, was the worst year for weather. It was raining, on and off, so we decided to only do the 1 mile. That and I am 8 months pregnant. About 10 minutes into the walk, Kait stated that she had been walking for an hour and half already! She is small, so maybe to her it felt like an hour and half! I hope I will not have to use March of Dimes money, but it is nice to know that if I need help, it would be helpful.
