True Respect
Right now I am watching the Michael Jackson memorial on television. It is amazing–as much as a circus he lived while living, in death it is amazing how people are acting at the memorial. They say there are about 16,000 people and it is so quiet. People are truly respecting the family and friends and not making a spectacle of his memorial, but using it as a way to say goodbye. No matter what people thought of him, right now he is getting the respect he should. He was a great singer, choreographer, and writer. As they keep saying, he will be missed. I guess our parents had Elvis and my generation will have Michael Jackson.
