Weight For It
After having a baby, my husband decided he needed to lose the baby weight. Yes, I said my husband. He gained pregnancy weight, relationship weight, age weight–he was 40 pounds heavier than when I first met him–the most that he had weighed in his life. One of my friends had been on Weighwatcher’s and she was losing weight. Andy decided that Weightwatcher’s was the weight loss tool that would work for him. During my pregnancy, we ate healthier, but we still had a problem. We didn’t really have portion control. It also helps knowing how many points what we are eating equal up to. If I were to join, I would only be alotted about 21 points. A candy bar is about 7. Really makes me consider for a moment not eating that candy bar. But only for a moment! But since Andy joined Weightwatchers–he’s down 40 pounds, he started going to the Y and he’s off one of his triglyceride medications. The best part, is I am down 20 pounds of my prepregancy weight and I am not counting my points! It is amazing what portion control can do. Now if I would start working out–imagine how far down I would be! That is my next goal–to actually workout!
