Nook, Line and Sinker
I can be such a hypocrite. Once I heard they were making electronic books, I was like, no, I need that book in my hand. It would not be the same reading from a pad. Well, fast forward about a year, and I asked for a Nook for Christmas from my parents. I LOVE it with a passion. I had compared Kindle and the Nook, and really didn’t see much difference. Plus, a coworker also has a nook and she told me about LendMe service, although we have yet to lend books, but the possiblity is there. I love the free nookbooks from Barnes and Noble, but am still trying to figure out how to get more free books. I have bought a few–due to gift cards I have received. The nicest thing is we don’t have the books lying around after I read them. It’s less clutter. If we go on a trip, that’s just one thing to pack. But I will still pick up a book and read it if I can’t get it on the Nook. It’s what I grew up on, and it just feels right.
