Books Books Books

I absolutely love to read.  I wish I could be paid to read.  I guess I could be at work since I can listen to the radio or cds, so I could listen to audiobooks.  Booksfree.com is this cool new service.  Basically its Netflix for books.  I was actually hoping to come across this service.   What you do is pick the amount of books you want at a time and they send them to you.  You have to keep your queue stocked up because once you send the book back in the prepaid envelope, they will send you another one.  I think this is a great idea.  Yes, going to the library is so much cheaper, but I hate due dates.  With this service, no due dates.  You take all the time you need to read.  Because I hate due dates, that causes me to have fines, which probably equal more than the $10.00 a month.  I figure that I spend about $200.00 buying books, so this service will save me on that too.  I like having a collection of books, but if I really want the book, I can buy it later after reading it.  I hate buying a book and then hating it and getting stuck with it.  I look forward to getting my first two books.

One book at a time

I have this problem.  I tend to read about 2 books at a time.  Right now, the reason is I have one for at work during breaks (since I don’t smoke like my husband) and one at home (in the bathroom).  I like to read whenever I get the chance.  I like reading in the bathroom.  And I’m talking just reading, not doing anything else.  Its a place where there is no distraction, well except for Adi when hes liking the tub.   I love to read.  I wish I could read as my job.  But words of caution while reading two books, if they are a part of the same series, try to keep the stories straight in you head.  Otherwise you may have not understand whats going on.

SFMOMA

This stands for San Francisco Muesuem of Modern Art.  I wasn’t impressed at all.  How is a all blue canvas considered art?  Maybe its because I am a more literally type.  To some people it may be considered art, but to me I don’t see it.  I’m glad I went just so I can say I went, but other than that I would never go back again.
