So to no ones surprise, Nicole Richie did announce that she was pregnant. As I was reading the article, it stated that she was 4 months along. But the thing that got me is that she has only been dating Joel Madden for about 7 months. Hmm, was it an oppsy?
So I can not get away from hearing about Lindsay Lohan. I have read a few articles and a heard some stories on TV and it doesn’t seem to add up. I’ve seen the guys she was with in the car. Why would she hang out with those guys? They look like nobodies, no offense. They aren’t that cute and didn’t seem to be the model type that Lindsay Lohan likes to hang out with. There is something going on with this. I especially love that these guys are suing Lindsay. Emotional stress my ass.
Lindsay Lohan was again arrested for her second DUI after just leaving rehab earlier this month. She even did an extended stay, 45 days. I guess she wasn’t taking the rehabilition serious or just had the I don’t have a problem attitude. What I think is that she needs to get away and take a look at what other people are saying about rehab.
Alcohol Rehab is a never ending process. I think if she maybe saw she wasn’t the only one going through what she is going through. Yes, she is famous, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t have a problem. She needs to realize that she has a problem and there are ways to fix it. It would probably help being able to read about other peoples problems and being able to relate to them.
One nice thing is that it is a place to talk about different types of treatment. One entry speaks of California drug rehab and that research needs to be done. They state a lot of California rehab centers have an emphasis on the universal, and not on the individual. That would be an important thing to know before checking yourself into one for 30 days.
Today is the day Paris gets out of jail. I’m glad she finally decided to suck it up and actually do her sentence. I think she realized that if she didn’t she’d piss off everyone, including sponsors. I figure she’s had time to figure out how to capitalize on this “horror”. I still do not think this was too harsh of a punishment. I think the reason that the judge was so harsh was because he wanted her to realize this wasn’t a joke. Maybe she’ll have changed. I doubt it. I just love that the networks didn’t want to do interviews. The only one that is is CNN.
I am nosy and like to know what is going on in the celebrity world. Its nice to relax and find out who has screwed up in last few days or who now is pregnant. I like to know the celebrity dirt. I do not have much excitement in my life, so I like to hear something exciting. Some of it I read on other sites, but I had not heard about Jennifer Aniston meeting with Brad Pitt’s mother. This is one of the top hitters. The thing I like about this site is that you can comment and vote on the stories that you think are more exciting.
For those of you planning to go to Lindsay Lohan’s 21st birthday bash, I’m sorry to inform you that she has cancelled it. Pure, the club in Las Vegas where the party was booked, even let her out of the contract. I think this was a really good idea for both of them. I do feel bad for Lindsay for not being able to celebrate her 21st birthday like she wanted to, but if she really sober, then good for her. But really, after you have been drinking for a few years prior to being legal, turning 21 is just another day (or so I’ve heard.
Sad news…Mr Wizard (Don Herbert) died today. He was 89 and died of bone cancer. I remember watching Mr. Wizard when I was younger. He actually made me quite interested in science. I remember turning on Nickelodeon and watching the show. I think I remember a show about making big bubbles. Man, that makes me feel old.
By June 5, Paris has to report to jail. I hope she does do the full half time they have decided to give her, 23 days. I know its partly making an example of her, but why shouldn’t she pay for what she did. She deserves to go to jail for drinking and driving and then being stupid enough to drive after revocation. She may be treated special, them not sure if she will have a roommate. She will be eating in her cell, since she will be in the special needs unit. Probably for her own protection, more than anything else. I just do not get why her friends and family are saying this is unfair. Well maybe I do understand, they do not live in the real world. They live in the world that everything revolves around them. Okay there was my rant for the day.
She has now reportedly checked into rehab. Did it not work the first time? And what does this mean for her 21st birthday party? Hopefully she really does understand the gravity of the entire situation. She really could have killed someone, including herself. If she still goes ahead with her birthday party, it will show that she really doesn’t understand. It will also show she really does have a problem. Only time will tell.
You would think that people would maybe give Britney Spears a break. I really am sick of hearing out stars complaining about her. To me, it just seems like they are trying to get into the spotlight by dissing her because they are not as big. Such as Avril Lavigne. I used to like her, but she seems like she is just poser. Pink has even thrown in som words, but from what I heard, she did not single Britney out. Avril has at more than one occasion dissed Britney. Whatever.
