I can’t belive I never posted a picture of our first tomato that we shared with my mother–we made BLT’s. Here is Andy’s pride and joy:

My company offers a wellness account. Basically you do certain tasks and receive money for doing them. Some stuff is quizzes or volunteering or tracking something like fruit and water intake. Basically you can earn up to $250.00 a year. My company will reimburse us for health related items. One of the things on the list is the Wii and Wii Fit. Since I just looked at it yesterday, I nonchalantly brought it up to my hubby (who works at the same place I do so we could get $500 total if we did everything). Since I met him, he’s been dead set on not having video games. He doesn’t want our kids (which are non-existant at this point) to be video gamers. But he surprised me last night and said sure. We normally buy shoes or clothing or weights or a treadmill, but we have all that stuff now. Since he said sure, I’m going to start looking for the right price. A free (essestianlly) Wii sounds like a good idea to me.

My husband loves the game of Life. I like the original board game too. We can’t really play mine anymore because the thingy between 9 and 10 is gone. So a couple of years ago, I let my husband buy the game of Life for the computer. I don’t like it because its missing my favorite part–the spinning of the wheel.

My sister bought this new game (per suggestion from me) for Andy for Xmas. Last night, we pulled it out to actually play. First, if you buy this game, you need 2 double A batteries. The spinner is electronic, which is kind of weird. (I won the two games) It was really hard to understand the steps because its pretty much all tracked on the spinner thing. Each player has a card–its like a credit card–that keeps track of your earnings and debt.

The one thing I do not like, is to win the game the directions say the spinner calculates a “random calculation” to determine your lifepoints. Ummm, what? So its entirely random who wins no matter what you do? Oh and you can only have 9 kids in this game. I remember in the old game commandeering another car to put the extra kids in. Plus you pick how many rounds you play, so you can strategize your playing a lot more. I guess I’m a girl that likes chance, so this game really isn’t going to be for me all the time. But I am having a winning streak, so I may keep up with it!

I bought a puzzle for Andy and I do instead of watching TV. Its a 1000 piece puzzle, Legends of Hollywood. It is of James Dean, Elvis Prestley, Marilyn Monroe and some other guy. I started separating the pieces for the edges. Andy realized this puzzle is going to be harder than we thought because there are only two different shaped puzzle pieces. I guess its just more quality time to spend with my husband. Once its completed, I will post a picture of the finished product.
