I do not get sucked into TV movies to much anymore, but this morning I turned on TNT and starting watching this movie, Vertical Limit. It is a very good movie, very stressful. Chris O’Donnell and Robin Turney ( I think, she’s the bald girl from Empire records) star in the movie. There are some sick parts in the movie, like what they use to mark their spot. Movies like this, mountain climbing movies where peopl get stuck in avalanches really make me never want to climb a mountain. Of course, I never really wanted to climb a mountain in the first place. Do they live? Who dies? Way too stressful.

Yesterday, I took my best friend to the movies because I really wanted to see Nancy Drew. It is the cutest movie. I would say its for ages 10-15 or women who like cute movies. It wasn’t scary, and had just enough mystery to keep even adults guessing. It also had quite a bit of comedy that Emma Roberts carried off easily. Emma Roberts is getting a good start in the business. I hope they begin this as a series of movies. I would watch them. You do not even have to had read the books to see the movie. It is a good introduction to the books though.

We went to the opening night of Pirates last night. I loved the movie. It was a nice ending, sort of. Of course, it left it open for more movies. Johnny Depp is an awesome and for those of you that love Johnny you get to see a lot of him as Captain Jack Sparrow. It was worth the year I had to wait to see the third one. It wrapped up all the story lines. I laughed, I could have cried and it was a great almost three hours of my life. I never once checked the time on my watch. Keira Knightley shines in the movie as Elizabeth Swan. Orlando Bloom’s character Will becomes the man he was intended to be. And did I mention the monkey is back! And Keith Richards as Jack’s father. Andy doesn’t think they put any makeup on Keith. It’s funny because with all the swaying and mannerism that Johnny does, you can tell he’s acting. I’m not so sure with Keith Richards! I know they have to stop the movies some time, but it would be nice to see Captain Jack again. I think he really brought Johnny Depp back into the movies. Plus these are movies his kids can watch! I’ve always loved Johnny Depp. He’s my one fantasy person, ever since 21 Jump St. Yes I actually saw it in first run, too, my sister liked to watch it!

I never loved this movie before. But now maybe its because I am older or maybe its because I am married in love, but this is a great movie. It stars Josh Lucas and Renee Witherspoon and Fred Ward and Candice Bergen. It is a really cute money with a great soundtrack. A total chick flick, but chick flicks aren’t horrible. The thing that is sad about this movie is Patrick Dempsey’s character is left behind not because of something he has done, its because Reese’s character came home to her first husband and found the chemistry still there. Its sad because it was just one love more powerful than another, not because of something he had done. I love USA movies. They show my favorite movies on the weekend.

Ummm…..what to say? I love movies. I could just watch them all day. I needed to not think last night, and just relax. If you have any tasts in movies, expect something good, do not rent. This movie has Alyson Hannigan (How I met Your Mother, American Pie) and some other people who you know their faces, but not their names. Its a spoof on all the romantic comdies. It was kind of fun trying to figure out what movie they were spoofing. There was some Grey’s Anatomy sprinkled in (“Pick me, Love me”), My Best friend’s Wedding, Meet the Parents, Meet the Fockers, My Big Fat Greek Wedding, When Harry met Sally, etc. It was to say the least a stupid movie. But I enjoyed it. Its kind of like “Snakes on a Plane.” Its one of those movies that you didn’t expect much and that’s what you got and you never have to watch it again!
